Small Groups are on the horizon, and the excitement is contagious at City View Church

Small Groups provide a way for you to connect with one another throughout the week, allowing you to grow in your walk with Christ together. Small Groups are more than just a Bible study – they enhance your faith journey while in community with others and with Christ at the center. We know that life can be busy and demanding at times, but we don’t want you to miss out on all the amazing things God will do through Small Groups. Investing your time and energy will be well worth it.

These are some ways that Small Groups can enhance your faith journey:

  • Being involved in a Small Group can lift your spirit, form friendships, bring depth to your faith, and strengthen your relationship with God.

  • Small Groups give you an opportunity on More Than Sunday to talk, pray, engage, study, worship, and even have some fun with others who attend City View Church.

  • God calls us all to love one another (John 13:34-35)encourage one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11), and carry one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Small Groups are a great place for you to participate in that calling.

We hope this creates some excitement in you for what’s happening at City View in the next few months!

Before we can offer you a Small Group to engage in, we need Small Group Leaders! Our goal is to have Small Groups all over the City of Renton so that you can join a group close to your home. This will require several people to commit to becoming a Small Group Leader. And we want YOU!

Jesus commissioned all of us to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) – it’s not just the job of a pastor. You don’t need a Bible degree, an extroverted personality, the gift of hospitality, or even a large home to lead a group. What you do need is the heart of a disciple and a willingness to help create an atmosphere that leads the way for others to connect and grow. Won’t you join in on this exciting mission? It could be the very thing God has been preparing you to do!
